Downtown Development Group (DDG), founded in 2014 by Mark Marvin has put forth an effort to help in the revitalization of Warren, Ohio. In doing so, DDG put together a proposal to purchase the long dormant Robins Theatre building with the idea of a complete renovation. After discussing the purchase with Ken Haidaris of Sunrise Entertainment and an agreement for Sunrise Entertainment to manage the entertainment of the theatre, the purchase was made and renovations began in early 2018. With the completion of the Robins Theatre, DDG envisions a revitalized Warren with art, entertainment, dining and shopping thriving for years to come.
